Snowflake Challenge #3

Challenge #3

Pimp Your Favorite Communities, Fests or Challenges! Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I don't participate in many fests or challenges and never really have, but obviously the biggest exception is iwry_marathon, the I Will Remember You marathon for Buffy/Angel fanfiction. It's been a long time since I submitted a fic, but newer writers and some of the oldtimers are keeping it alive, and I'm just so proud of being part of such a wonderful piece of fandom history.

While we're on the B/A subject, Blood Roses is also still around. That was a formative forum for me...one might say it was FORUMATIVE okay I'm sorry I just saw it there and I had to say it. Anyway, we used to have so much fun there, and it's still around too!

On the off chance anyone's interested, I may as well put in a plug for my own communities too. There's tomes_of_lore, which Taaroko and I started up as a Lord of the Rings reread community. I know it looks dead right now but expect me to be inviting everyone in the near future, when we get reading again.

I also have another dead-looking one, net_culture, but I'm not averse to jump starting that one too at some point if there's any interest in it.

Finally, my most recent community for my most current fandom, the Halfworld Discord server. It was created to center on Rocket Raccoon, but it's become a somewhat active, relaxed circle of friends who talk about the MCU, cute animals, and whatever. I'm in charge and I tolerate no shenanigans, so feel free to join us.
