I guess part of it is situational; I have a habit of dividing my attention when I'm watching anything that doesn't have me completely enthralled, and since the first season was so wobbly, I never quite had both of my eyes on it at once, and then the second season began and I had no idea what was going on. TV is not so fun when you have no idea what's going on. I've made multiple attempts to start the second season or the whole series over, and the same thing happens every time. Now whenever there's a plot twist or some significant development, I'm not getting the full effect because I still have no idea what's going on. I don't love the characters like I'm supposed to and I can never quite make myself believe that what happens in the show can affect the rest of the MCU even when I've seen proof.
Right now I'm all caught up because I bought the season on XBox in advance (and it was hella expensive), and I think I want to keep watching, but can I really justify this? Is a rewatch going to work, if I make myself sit down and watch and refuse to touch my phone? Can anyone just start going off in the comments about what you like about this show, or what you predict is going to happen next, or also what has already happened because as stated previously, I have no idea?
And to finish with a slightly more pointed grudge: I resent Gordon for not being the Marvel canon character he should have been. The Inhumans-as-Mutants makes sense given the copyright issues but I'm an X-Fan first and a flimsy replacement is always going to feel like a flimsy replacement.
