Writer's Block: There Once Was a Girl from Nantucket

It's Limerick Day! Share a favorite or compose your own humorous five-line poem with an AABBA rhyme structure.

There once was a Slayer named Buffy,
Who could sometimes act a bit huffy.
When she saw her life's worries
As seen through fan-stories
She said, "Fine, just stop writing Spuffy!"

There once was a Watcher named Giles,
Who measured in meters, not miles.
But instead of correcting,
He went on perfecting
His system of alphabetic files.

There once was a Wicca named Willow,
Who put memory spells on a pillow.
Her girlfriend said sadly,
"You hurt me so badly,
To clean this mess we'll need some Brillo."

There once was a Zeppo named Xander,
Who was known for his spirited candor.
He had no real plan,
Just an old yellow crayon,
But no final words could be grander.
